Oil versus Acrylic

Good start for the week, the acrylics arrived; I saved some money ordering online, made quite a good deal on eBay. Still waiting for the acrylic slow drying gel but I can start testing the colours…

Made an attempt to repair the carnations painting started last week but not so happy with the results: They look dull and lifeless. Acrylics might have their qualities, I prefer oil though. For best results, Oil is the king; It’s true what they say.
